If your course qualification is not on the REPs Ireland Approved Education Provider it may be for one of the below reasons:

  1. Your education provider is not a REPs Ireland Approved Education Provider and hasn’t gone through a REPS Ireland auditing process. You may apply via a Non-Standard Application to have your qualification reviewed. There is additional paper work including the mapping of course content and descriptors required along with a fee of €50 for this application.
  2. The provider is based outside of Republic of Ireland. If the country you obtained your qualification from has a REPs register there may be a portability agreement in place to recognise this qualification in Ireland. If not a Non Standard Application will be required (note point 3). EREPs members will be required to complete a non standard application. CIMSPA members will be required to provide additional information on method of course delivery.
  3. The course was completed fully online meaning your qualification is ineligible for recognition by REPs Ireland. These include:
  • Open University
  • Origym
  • Neu Pilates
  • iFit
